Track: Lianne La Havas – Can’t Fight And Announces Exclusive Worldwide Live Show From London Roundhouse July 15th

Soulful Lianne La Havas is back to fill our ears with joy with her new track ‘Cant Fight’, taken from her self titled album, due 17th July via Warner Music Group.

Co-written and produced by Mura Masa – ‘Can’t Fight’ is a beautifully crafted ode to the push-pull of a relationship that is struggling to find its natural equilibrium. The truth that you need to break free from it but the love and belief that you can make it work keeps pulling you back in. This complex subject matter is at odds with the upbeat and optimistic sound of the record – the buoyant guitar line and rhythmic syllables intertwine with a rhythmic backing track that invokes a sense of classic soulful joy throughout.

I may be biased here but with the talent this lady has who can blame me. The track feels so effortless from the intricate guitar playing to her soul filled vocals. Built on a rhythmic strum of a guitar theres soaring backing vocals and lung busting notes from Lianne herself and an addictive percussion that lifts the song into more than just a girl and her guitar.
