Hailing from Swindon alt rockers Modern Evils have unleashed a their new single, ‘Gitzlaff Lover’, which is a commanding slab of engaging alt rock framed with a biting attack and contagious refrain.
The band comment on the motivation behind the track:
“It’s a true story based on a couple who discover lust for one another. Their relationship, built on intoxication, soon reveals just how dissimilar they are, which eventually forms a shared hatred toward one another.”
A fully loaded monster of a track that hits hard, from the scratchy opening riff to the powerful driving drums topped by the explosive and venomous vocals. It’s a track to get the blood pumping and feel alive, and it’s done in epic fashion.
