London-based artist Pollena, formally of Girlhood, is today returning with her new single ‘Lemons’ which is out via Team Talk Records. This is the first single to be taken from her forthcoming debut EP which is to be announced shortly.
Pollena comments:
“I want to celebrate living a life that feels true to me and inspire others to do the same,” says Pollena. “It’s not easy when living in a society that’s trying to force us into certain roles that we may not fit. ‘Lemons’ is all about slowing down and connecting with what makes you happy.”
With a summery vibe, ‘Lemons’ is a laid back keyboard led track with cool synth melodies and vocals dripping with an urban attitude. It’s an almost hypnotic affair that has you drifting off to think of warm summer beer gardens with a slice of lemon and ice.
