Track: Rohan Solomon – Croatia

New Delhi/New York-based singer-songwriter, composer and producer Rohan Solomon has shared a new single titled ‘Croatia’, which is taken from the new album ‘Strung Out to Dry’.

Rohan explains:

“As the album unfolds, each track serves as a chapter in the protagonist’s journey. ‘Croatia’ introduces Act 3, as the protagonist falls head over heels for someone, despite the inherent risks. This flagship song combines rock vibes with orchestral elements.”

The former frontman of rock band Cyanide, Rohan has been developing this dialogue between the popular format of music and the grandeur of a symphony orchestra for a while now. Backed by a band of guitars, bass, piano, and drums, Rohan’s narrative is enriched by the symphonic embrace of a full orchestra, offering listeners a truly immersive experience. The record is a deeply woven story of life’s highs and lows.

“This is special because it’s my 20th anniversary as a professional musician. I’m putting together something different and fresh with this album. It’s a double whammy, as it’s an orchestral-meets-concept album. Each song has been carefully chosen to convey a story. At the same time, I want the listeners to develop their own story as they listen to it. Music is so subjective, I want people to relate to this album in their own way,” says the multi-faceted artist Rohan Solomon.

Solomon’s delicate emotive vocals are enhanced by the picked guitar and sweeping orchestra. The track ramps up a notch with the introduction of the drums and the cinematic brilliance of the story matches the intricacy, complexion and huge breadth of his music. Sublime songwriting and composing.
