More massive acts have recently been announced to bolster the already immense line up for the 2024 edition of Bloodstock Open Air Festival.

Whitechapel have been added to the Main Stage on the Saturday to bring you an afternoon delight of crunching and pounding Deathcore. Hot off their recent tour with Thy Art Is Murder, they will undoubtedly bring a no holds barred set to the glorious Catton Hall landscape.

The Main Stage on the Friday will see Swedish Metal legends Grand Magus entertain us with a set of uncompromising metal from their extensive back catalogue.

Deicide will destroy us on the Main Stage on the Saturday with a ‘UK Festival Exclusive Set’ which will surely be one not to be missed, and one which could potentially go down in history from these death metal legends.

Opening the Main Stage on the Friday will see Oxford based riff beasts Desert Storm and then over on the Sophie Stage on the Friday you will be able to catch Icelandic Psych Rock squad The Vintage Caravan, metal maelstrom from Exist Immortal and epic metal from the U.S courtesy of Eternal Champion.

Saturdays Sophie stage will witness one of alt. music’s hottest rising stars, Mimi Barks, and then on the Sophie Stage on the Sunday we will be greeted by Grove Street.

They all add weight to the already colossal line up featuring the headliners Opeth (UK exclusive fan picked set), Architects (UK Exclusive) and Amon Amarth (UK Exclusive) as well as Clutch, malevolence (Only UK Fest), Hatebreed (30th Anniversary Set), Rotting Christ (Only UK Fest), Enslaved, Septic Flesh (Only UK Fest), Beast in Black and Forbidden.

Tickets can be purchased at Bloodstock Tickets | 8th – 11th August 2024 (seetickets.com)
