Following on from the release of their new, brilliant album ‘Darkness Brings The Wonder Home’, which has been received with critical claim virtually everywhere, Smoke Fairies have announced that current single ‘Elevator’ is to be released as a limited edition picture-disc 7” vinyl single on April 3rd.
Elevator is on the grittier end of the Smoke Fairies spectrum, with their beautiful harmonised vocals having more of a forceful nature about them, as the track, with its angst ridden backing, propels forwards with elements of post-punk and indie rock. What doesn’t change though is the bands handling of melody which as ever, is bang on point.

The band have scheduled a trio of in-store appearances to celebrate the release of the 7”, and then embark on a UK headline tour later in the year, which includes a date at London’s Lafayette on October 1st. Details below.
