We’re suckers for the sort of track that grabs you in the feels and spews melody all over your ears, so Los Angeles experimental pop quartet Sure Sure’s new single Giants is right up our street. Stripped back to acoustic guitar, tambourine and basic beats, it’s so exuberant and joyous it wouldn’t matter if the background was the sound of someone cutting their toenails.
It’s taken from their newly released album made up of Giants, 4 other unreleased tracks and a collection of singles released over the past year. It’s available on vinyl and digitally, and for those of you in the US, you can catch them on tour right now with Hippo Campus, before embarking on their own headline tour in April. No news as yet on whether you’ll be able to catch them on our shores any time soon.
