Fresh from their 24 hour Drum & Bass & Jungle DJ set to raise money for the NHS through NHS Charities Together, Nick White and Chris Garvey, the two DJs that make up The Prototypes have announced the release of new single ‘Oxygen’ which was Annie Macs hottest record.
It is the second single from their upcoming album, ‘Ten Thousand Feet & Rising’ rescheduled for release on 31st July and follows on the recent release of the 90s Hardcore throwback cut ‘Shadows’ featuring Lily McKenzie’. Their long awaited second album, ‘Ten Thousand Feet & Rising’, it’s the sound of an intense studio lockdown, entirely written and composed by The Prototypes and spread over eleven tracks, it includes features by 2Shy MC and Elle Exxe and Lowes.
Featuring Kudu Blue the song is a euphoric slab of a drum and bass track which harks back to the 90’s dance scene. Starting slow the track builds before the beat drops and the main theme propelling the tune into an anthemic monster.
