If you’ve not heard of The Half Earth, essentially the project of Blackpool born, Sheffield based artist Conor Stephenson, then your surely about to. He’s been making achingly beautiful songs that have caught the attention of not only the movers and shakers in the music press but also of woman of the moment Soak, who’s invited him to support her on her forthcoming autumn tour dates.
We managed to persuade him to record us an exclusive session track, The Balance, at the recent Tramlines festival. If it doesn’t leave a little lump in your throat, the you’ve had your emotion glands removed. Or something.
