Denver based art collective déCollage have revealed the title track of their album – “Magnetize”. A shuffling collage of saxophone, scratches, samples and soul. It soundtracks a particularly fevered dream where the beat ebbs and flows, and old jazz records play over 1980s videogames.  Lead by producer Reed Fuchs, déCollage are part of Moon Magnet, a shared house / studio where 8 different acts come together to create “cosmic sounds”.

The album is out on May 27th on decollage.bandcamp.com or on Moon Magnet’s Lunadrifter app, which promises to make each listening experience unique by pairing the music with a drawing / remixing application which can also slow down and pulse the tracks.  Anyone who remembers the 8-bit light synthesiser software “Psychedelia” will be immediately at home with it!
