Shark Breath Promotions are a brand spanking new totally independent punk and alternative label who’s only remit is to bring you the best in punk, ska, thrash and alternative sounds from the true underground.
Whether it be well established acts or the best up and coming bands around, Shark Breath will seek them out and bring them to the masses, be it in recorded format or live gigs.
First offering comes in the shape of a ‘free monster punk compilation’ featuring 16 tracks from some of the rawest street punk bands around.
It’s a pretty solid collection as far as compilations go. It’s had a couple of listens now and, unlike most compilations we haven’t felt the need to skip any tracks. That said we do have a few favourite’s that have seen us tightening our boots and bouncing around Backseat Mafia Towers much to the amusement of our minions.
The grindcore/power violence inspired, Boycott The Baptist – ‘3rd Degree Gurns’ and the straight up street punk of Tosserlad – ‘Punk From Hell’ and The Krayons – ‘C##ts In Suits’ are particular favourites.
