Only 30 more sleeps to go, only 30 more sleeps to go, only 30 more sleeps to go…

Anyone who has been paying even scant attention, that includes you at the back with the pointy hat on, will have noticed my zealous adoration for all things Fuzz Club – if you haven’t, please leave quietly by that door over there…

I had been conscious that the mile / mill stone of 100 blog posts was creeping ever nearer on the horizon, even though I resolutely remain, “not a number” but “a free man”!

When all was said and done there could be only one, my beloved 100th Fuzz Club.

It is no small measure of the effort and integrity with which Casper Dee has imbued his vinyl offspring, that the upcoming Fuzz Club Festival boasts the cream of the current independent, underground crop.

THE KVB, CAMERA, THE TELESCOPES, 10,000 RUSSOS, NEW CANDYS, THROW DOWN BONES, THE MYRRORS , LOLA COLT , SONIC JESUS, MUGSTAR, THE CULT OF DOM KELLER, RADAR MEN FROM THE MOON, THE JANITORS, THE ORANGE REVIVAL, DEAD RABBITS

Read ‘Em And Weep!

I would give my eye teeth to see any one of these bands – the prospect of seeing them all, “under two railway arches” at London Fields Brewhouse, over two sublime evenings, is almost beyond mind-befuddling comprehension. Many of these bands, I have had the pleasure of reviewing / interviewing on these very pages.

Without further ado, in the first of 3 posts dedicated to this landmark gathering for this modestly industrious, creatively unique label, is the first 5 artists on that illustrious bill, promoted in conjunction with Bad Vibrations;
