To all the metal heads out there, this one’s for you. The Never Say Die Tour well and truly smashed it this year with headlining band After The Burial tearing it down at Manchester Academy.

All the way from Minneapolis, the death metal band who formed way back in 2004, are still making the crowds go feral. Lead singer, or should I say, lead screamer, Anthony Notarmaso announced that this was his first show without his leg in a pot after breaking it skateboarding. So you guessed it, he went absolutely wild!

They kicked off the night with one of their hits “In Flux” as well as “Collapse” and “Behold The Crown”. Bass guitarist, Adrian Oropeza, was absolutely insane. Head banging and having a little mosh on stage, whilst playing the bass? Can’t be easy! Over to the lead guitarist, Trent Hafdahl, what an awesome musician and boy did he know how to shred. One word, incredible. The drummer, Dan Carle, wow. That double-kick drum was something else.

Every single person in this room, moshing along and diving everywhere and just to say, the venue wasn’t massive yet the crowd had managed to form a circle pit! It was truly an amazing experience. The metal heads have done it again.
