Track: Armchair Committee – All Mine (Portishead Cover)

Bristol three piece Armchair Committee have taken a look back into the musical history of their city for a prequel to their forthcoming single Rawgabbit, which drops December 11th. They’ve dragged Portishead’s All Mine through their skewed blues and punk energy, and made something thats loud, muscular and actually rather good.

Recorded at the legendary Coach House Studios in their home city, and produced by Tom Dalgety (Turbowolf / Dinosaur Pile-Up / Royal Blood), they’ve managed to keep the stripped back glory of the original, just with a little creaking guitar strings and edgy bass, but its as it goes through the changes and reaches the chorus that the weight and Royal Blood-esque aggression is added.

Exciting stuff.

All Mine is out now.
