Track: Seapony – Let Go

Seattle’s Seapony are back after nearly two years with new album A Vision due to be released on 31 July.

Let Go is the second single from the album and is just under three minutes of breezy surf pop perfection. Jen Weidl’s dreamy vocals and Danny Rowland’s jangling guitar combine with a touch of synth to create a song completely suited to kicking back with an ice cream and enjoying the summer. This track, much like the first single (Saw The Light), isn’t so much one to sing along to as one to sigh along to.

If all their new material is like this, the album will be the ideal soundtrack for the next heatwave.
