News: Alpine Universe Releases New Album KORDÉE

French composer and multi-instrumentalist Alpine Universe has released his new album KORDÉE, a bold and cinematic work that merges powerful electronic production with orchestral writing and organic instruments from around the world. With this latest project, the independent artist deepens the narrative and philosophical universe that has become the foundation of his work.

KORDÉE is built around a clear and striking image: a rope team of mountaineers climbing a summit together. In a cordée, each climber advances along their own path, yet everyone depends on the others to reach the top. Through this metaphor, the album reflects on cooperation, perseverance and the invisible bonds that connect human beings. It explores the transmission of knowledge, the search for inner guidance and the role of the individual within a larger whole.

Across its tracks, the album unfolds like an ascent. ‘Kordée’ and ‘Onward We Go’ evoke the passing of wisdom from one generation to the next, capturing the quiet strength of shared experience. ‘Power of Zero’, ‘Now Is the Time’ and ‘Chase the Mystery’ follow a journey toward personal clarity and purpose. Other pieces suggest that each person exists as a single fiber woven into the immense fabric of humanity, fragile alone yet powerful together.

The record also brings to life figures from the Alpine mythology that underpins the project’s broader narrative. ‘Lodie’ portrays a young Saptan discovering her calling, while ‘Nightmare Fuel’ tells the story of Delilah, a citizen of Sanctum who begins to uncover traces of a hidden Alpine civilization. With ‘Kompete for Balance’, Alpine Universe delivers a sharp reflection on a technocratic society rushing toward singularity and the possible collapse of the world as we know it. Throughout, KORDÉE invites listeners into an emotional and philosophical journey—one that questions where humanity is heading while pointing toward solidarity and awareness.

This release forms part of a larger, original narrative universe that shapes every chapter of Alpine Universe’s work. The story unfolds in a distant future where Earth has been devastated by wars and climate disruption. The last remnants of humanity survive inside a fortified and heavily polluted megacity called Sanctum, struggling with limited resources and fading horizons. Far above the toxic clouds, in the sunlit peaks of the mountains, lives another civilization: the Alpines. Living in balance with nature, they have built a community that unites advanced technology with profound spiritual knowledge. Among them are rare beings known as Saptans—guides and guardians who embody the highest possibilities of human evolution. Each album expands this mythology, transforming music releases into chapters of an ongoing saga.

Alpine Universe remains driven by complete artistic independence. Shaped by ten years of experience in film music and by the high-mountain landscapes of his childhood, he composes, performs and records almost every element himself, from vocals and synthesizers to guitars, ethnic instruments and electronic percussion. His autonomy extends to mixing, mastering, graphic design, video directing and editing, ensuring that every aspect of the project flows from a single, coherent vision. Even beyond the music, he designs and produces custom merchandise through a dedicated section of his website called ‘The Temple’, using 3D printing and laser engraving to create objects that carry the aesthetic of his world.

On stage, the project evolves into a collective experience. Alpine Universe surrounds himself with a distinctive ensemble featuring violin, cello, accordion, synthesizers and electronic drums—an unconventional lineup that mirrors the meeting of organic and electronic elements at the heart of his sound. With KORDÉE, he continues to expand his artistic summit, offering listeners not just an album, but an invitation to climb together.
