THE EXCELLENT Canadian baroque pop auteur Andy Shauf has announced a brace of live-streaming events for next Tuesday, June 30th.

The shows, which will stream live from his home in Toronto, are ticketed; Andy aims to raise money for a number of beneficiaries, including the Parkdale Community Food Bank, in his adopted home city; the Nia Centre for the Arts, a Toronto not-for-profit organisation that supports, showcases and promotes an appreciation of arts from across the African diaspora; and his band and crew, “who have lost months of work due to the pandemic”.

Two shows are planned: one for the Americas at 6pm Pacific, 9pm Eastern time, and a European show at 8pm British Summer Time. Anyone who “attends” will be able to stream the shows again over the subsequent 48 hours.

The sets will have a strong element of by-request: Andy says, “If you want to request a song, just reply to the announcement on my Twitter or Instagram feeds. I’ll do my best to accommodate as many as I can. I will not be playing ‘You Remind Me’.”

You can use the early bird discount code ALLREQUEST before midnight on Wednesday for a discounted ticket to the American show.

Tickets for the European shows are available at https://dice.fm/tour/andy-shauf-live-stream and for America at https://noonchorus.com/andyshauf/
