Canadian experimental duo Angine de Poitrine are heading to Australia in March 2027, bringing their brilliantly strange brand of psychedelic rock to Melbourne and Sydney, alongside appearances at Golden Plains and WOMADelaide.
Armed with oddball costumes, hypnotic rhythms and a sound that refuses to sit neatly in any genre, Angine de Poitrine have built a reputation for turning live performances into something wonderfully unpredictable.
Mixing math rock, psychedelic grooves and experimental electronics, the duo make music that is as technically impressive as it is gloriously weird. Expect twisted guitar lines, off-kilter rhythms and plenty of surprises.
The pair will hit Melbourne’s Forum on 4 March before heading to Golden Plains and WOMADelaide, wrapping up their Australian visit at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on 9 March.
For anyone who likes their rock music a little left of centre, Angine de Poitrine might just be one of the most intriguing live acts heading our way in 2027.
