News: Bad Manners Announce Greatest Hits Tour Of Australia

Bad Manners

UK Ska Legends, Bad Manners will return to Australia later this year. Fronted by the irrepressible Buster Bloodvessel with his exceptionally long tongue, big personality and even bigger figure, Buster and Bad Manners have a huge set of fun original pop ska – ‘Lip Up Fatty’, ‘Special Brew’, ‘Walking In The Sunshine’, ‘Lorraine’, ‘Just A Feeling’, ‘My Girl Lollipop’, ‘Inner London Violence’ and of course the ultimate knees up ‘Can Can’, ready for Australian audiences.

Bad Manners quickly became one of the favourites of the Ska movement through their wild on-stage antics, sheer joviality and obnoxious amounts of energy. Bad Manners were at their peak most popular during the late 1970s and early 1980s, during a period when other ska revival bands, such as Madness and The Specials, The Beat and The Selecter, filled the charts. Bad Manners spent 111 weeks in the UK Singles Chart between 1980 and 1983. One of the main reasons for their notoriety was Buster Bloodvessel whose wild onstage antics and eccentric behaviour got them banned from Top of the Pops.

Buster and the boys play exactly what the crowd wants and expects – a set full of hits, sing-a-longs, so be sure to get a ticket for the band’s run of Australian shows.
