beabadoobee is heading back to Australia in March 2027, and this time she is making the jump to arenas. The London-based artist will bring The Powerlines Tour to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney as anticipation builds around her fourth album, ‘Pylon’.
Presented by Handsome Tours, triple j and Laneway Presents, the Australian run will take in Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Afterpay Arena. The dates form part of beabadoobee’s biggest tour yet, which also includes shows at Madison Square Garden, The Kia Forum and London’s O2 Arena.
The return comes after a particularly busy period in Australia for Beatrice Laus. She toured locally with Laneway Festival in 2025, where a Melbourne appearance brought an unexpected reunion with Clairo for their collaboration ‘Glue Song’. During the same visit, she headed into triple j for Like A Version and reworked Bic Runga’s ‘Sway’, earning the approval of Runga herself.
Since then, the scale surrounding beabadoobee has continued to grow. Her 2025 included a Coachella debut, another Glastonbury appearance and a UK stadium run with Coldplay, adding considerably larger stages to a live career that began in far smaller indie rooms.
The Australian arena dates arrive behind ‘Pylon’, due September 18 through Dirty Hit/Interscope. Its title comes from the electricity towers Laus repeatedly encountered while touring, structures that became reminders of home during periods of isolation and disconnection on the road.
Those feelings feed directly into the record. Many of its songs began as diary entries and private thoughts, while its 14 tracks turn towards a louder and more abrasive version of beabadoobee’s guitar music, with distortion playing a much greater role across the album.
Recent singles ‘Sun Has Set’, ‘Switchblade’ and ‘Memories’ have already offered an early look at that shift. Laus debuted the songs live during appearances at Lollapalooza, Hinterland and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, beginning to bring the ‘Pylon’ era onto the stage ahead of the album’s arrival.
The tour will not abandon the records that got her here, however. Sets are expected to stretch across ‘Fake It Flowers’, ‘Beatopia’ and 2024’s ‘This Is How Tomorrow Moves’, the latter becoming her first UK number one album and reaching number six in Australia.
Born in the Philippines and raised in London, Laus has travelled an increasingly improbable distance from the bedroom recordings that first introduced beabadoobee. Her catalogue has now accumulated more than 10 billion streams worldwide, while her three previous albums have all reached the UK Top 10.
Earlier this year she also teamed up with The Marías for the standalone single ‘All I Did Was Dream Of You’, continuing a run of collaborations that has developed alongside her increasingly guitar-heavy solo work.
The Powerlines Tour now brings that next phase back to Australia, only this time the rooms are significantly bigger. After Laneway, Coachella, Glastonbury and stadiums with Coldplay, beabadoobee’s move into Australian arenas feels like the clearest indication yet of just how far the project has travelled.
