NEWS: Bloodstock Add Four Bands To Line-Up

Four more bands have been added to the line-up for August’s best metal gathering!

Joining the likes of Amon Amarth, Hatebreed, Arch Enemy and Megadeth on the line-up firstly are German thrash legends Kreator! They will take on Bloodstock’s main stage in Saturday’s special guest spot. Vocalist/guitarist Mille Petrozza had this to say, “We are happy to finally return to BLOODSTOCK! KREATOR will give you the full treatment this time. WE SHALL KILL.” The band’s fourteenth album was released in January via Nuclear Blast- you can check out the title track here.

Next up joining the bill are Flint’s unstoppable King 810 who, in a UK festival exclusive, have landed a spot on the main stage- they will also play on Saturday. Metal Injection.net pronounced last year’s release, La Petit Mort (Or A Conversation With God) ‘2016’s best example of what an album should be’. You can check out the colossal Alpha & Omega here, as well as checking out a message that King 810 had for Bloodstock fans earlier this week

Adding to the black metal side of things, Inquisition will headline the Sophie Lancaster stage on the Friday night of Bloodstock. It’s imperative you check out their track Wings Of Anu now, taken from their seventh album, Bloodshed Across The Empyrean Altar Beyond The Celestial Zenith, which was released back in August.

Finally, all the way from Australia, King Parrot will be taking up a slot on the Sophie Lancaster stage. At present, the band are out on the road in support of their album Dead Set, produced by Phil Anselmo. Dubbing themselves a ‘grindin’, thrashin’, punk wrecking machine’, you can listen to Dead Set here, or check out their 2012 video for Shit On The Liver.

You can buy tickets for Bloodstock here! The festival will take place at Catton Park in Derbyshire on August 10th-13th, and you can see the full line-up below.
