Emerging with a delicate yet immersive new single, Brighton-based seven-piece Ever Elysian has once again demonstrated their unique sound with ‘Fool in Love’. Known for their evocative blend of Americana, soft rock, and soul, the band’s newest track explores the raw vulnerability and unexpected bliss of new love, showcasing their signature balance of warmth and melodic complexity.

Ever Elysian’s music creates a serene atmosphere, drawing listeners in with an emotional resonance that comes alive through lyrics, wistful slide guitar, and rhythm that feels alive. ‘Fool in Love’ captures the intoxicating feeling of unexpected affection, with lyrics and sounds that reflect both joy and the fragility of hope.

“This song ventures into the eye of the optimist,” the band shares, “and explores the unexplainable phenomenon of developing an unexpected attachment that becomes deep affection. With escapism and vulnerability at its core, ‘Fool in Love’ allows the listener to step out of reality for a moment and indulge in the beauty of loving, and being loved in return.”

Recorded live at the iconic Brighton Electric Studios with producer Corin Robinson, Ever Elysian’s approach to ‘Fool in Love’ is one of organic energy. The band emphasizes that they embrace the spontaneity of live recording, forgoing a click track to let the song develop its own natural flow. “Our process involves recording live without a click, allowing the song to breathe and develop its own rhythm,” they explain, adding a raw authenticity to their groove-driven sound that invites listeners into their world.

Ever Elysian’s upward trajectory in the indie scene has become increasingly visible. The band has gathered momentum with a series of standout performances, including slots alongside artists like Kymara, Charlotte Carpenter, and Caleb Harris, as well as a notable set at the HOMEGROWN Festival supporting The Wytches. Their sold-out release shows in Brighton have fostered a strong local following, each event feeling like a celebration of art, community, and connection.
