Vienna’s pop riser Diego Federico has just released his latest single, ‘Drop It’. This track is a powerhouse of plucky synth melodies, vast bass swells, and pounding percussion, creating an energized and impassioned dive into Diego’s romantic pain. The emotive atmospheres crafted through soft electronic arrangements and flourishing choruses resonate deeply, capturing the agony of heartbreak with a roaring infectiousness.

‘Drop It’ stands out with Diego’s vivid vocal performances, where the tension rises and his feelings tear through the arrangement. The song intricately weaves a shadowy alt-pop banger, showcasing Diego’s ability to turn personal turmoil into an engaging musical experience. Reflecting on the inspiration behind the track, Diego shares, “Have you ever been hurt by the person you love the most? You cannot really put it into words, but all you want to do is run away.”

Born in Bolzano, Italy, Diego Federico was raised bilingual in German and Italian, with his creativity nurtured by a passion for music, dance, makeup, and fashion from a young age. His musical journey began with learning piano and singing in choirs, leading him to graduate from the Performing Center Austria. Diego’s early career featured appearances in TV shows and musical theatre, setting the stage for his move into music.
