Eric Church is finally heading Down Under for his first Australian headline shows, with the country heavyweight locking in arena dates for Melbourne and Sydney in March 2027.
The 11-time Grammy nominee will play Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on March 13 before heading to Sydney’s Afterpay Arena on March 16. Parker McCollum joins both dates as special guest, marking his own Australian debut.
Church then heads north to headline the 20th anniversary edition of CMC Rocks QLD on March 20, an appearance almost two decades in the making. Festival organisers have long had Church on their wish list, and Australian fans have been waiting just as patiently.
The announcement arrives alongside new song On The Road, which looks back across a career that has turned Church into one of modern country music’s biggest live drawcards. His catalogue stretches from early records Sinners Like Me and Carolina through the four-times platinum Chief, The Outsiders and 2025’s Grammy-nominated Evangeline vs. The Machine.
That history comes with some serious ammunition. Springsteen, Drink In My Hand, Record Year, Talladega, Hell Of A View and Like a Wrecking Ball are among the songs that have helped build Church’s formidable reputation, while seven ACM Awards, four CMA Awards and 11 Grammy nominations underline his place in contemporary country.
Church Choir members get first access to arena tickets from 11am local time on Wednesday, September 30, before the general sale begins at 12pm local time on Thursday, October 1.
