English singer and actor Freya Skye is heading back to Australia next month with her rapidly growing ‘Stars Align’ tour already proving too large for its original venues. Presented by Frontier Touring, the Australian run was upgraded due to overwhelming demand, but even the larger rooms have now sold out ahead of the June kickoff.
The new dates arrive just months after her February tour sold out almost instantly, a moment that coincided with the rise of ‘silent treatment’, the kind of sleek, emotionally direct pop single that now seems to be following Skye everywhere. The track has already climbed radio charts across the US, UK, Canada, France and Australia, while her debut EP stardust pulled in more than 12 million streams in its first week alone.
There’s a sense that Skye’s career is accelerating in multiple directions at once. Before signing to Hollywood Records and landing a talent holding deal with Disney Branded Television, she first emerged representing the United Kingdom at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Since then, her path has moved from online discovery to starring as Nova Bright in Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, while simultaneously building a music career that now sits somewhere between Disney-pop polish and the diaristic openness dominating contemporary chart music.
