TV Girl will be bringing their hypnotic pop to Australia in July 2024, gracing stages in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as playing a special co-headline show with much loved British five-piece The Last Dinner Party in Brisbane. The band was originally scheduled to perform at Splendour in the Glass, but that event was unfortunately cancelled. This will be TV Girl’s first tour of Australia.

TV Girl are an indie pop band known for their catchy melodies and sample-driven music, blending modern lo-fi aesthetics with influences from classic pop and soul. The band comprises Brad Petering on vocals and guitar, Jason Wyman on keyboards, and Wyatt Harmon on bass. Together, they create a unique sound characterised by its use of electronic beats and clever samples, which overlay nostalgic, lyrical storytelling often exploring themes of love and longing.

In 2014, TV Girl released their debut album, ‘French Exit,’ to a chorus of critical acclaim. The record distills the essence of TV Girl’s unique allure— a tapestry woven with rich electronic samples that punctuate each track, airy guitars, and the ethereal swirl of organs.

In 2023, TV Girl dropped their latest album, ‘Grapes Upon the Vine,’ a record that marks their most refined venture to date. Throughout the year, the band took this ambitious set on the road, casting their sonic spell across America, including a performance at Coachella that garnered widespread acclaim.

Tue 16 July 2024 – Forum, Melbourne

Sat 20 July 2024 – TV Girl & The Last Dinner Party, Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane
