News: International rockabilly supergroup, The Barnestormers, release first single, Johnny’s Gone with news of impending album release

An international supergroup made up of Jimmy Barnes (Cold Chisel), Slim Jim Phantom (The Stray Cats), Jools Holland (Squeeze/UK Squeeze), Chris Cheney (The Living End) and Kevin Shirley (legendary producer for Joe Bonamassa, Beth Hart, Aerosmith, Metallica and many others) has just released their first glimpse of their debut, self-titled album, The Barnestormers by way of a great clip for first single, Johnny’s Gone. It features the comic book artwork of Vince Ray brought to cartoon life by Italian, Marco Pavone.

Borne out of the down-time during the Covid-19 pandemic, The Barnestormers have taken the Don Walker-penned song and made it into a newborn rockabilly classic.

The album will be released on Friday, May 26th and is available for pre-order here.
