News: Kasabian announce 2027 Australian tour

Kasabian are coming back for more. The Leicester indie-rock giants are bringing their Nothing Better Than This tour to Australia in 2027, armed with a new number one album and a back catalogue packed with festival anthems.

Fresh from landing their eighth UK number one with September’s Act III, Kasabian are heading to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion and Perth HPC, alongside appearances at On The Banks in Brisbane, Palace Foreshore in Melbourne and Electric Avenue in Christchurch.

The band recently pulled 45,000 fans to London’s Finsbury Park, and it’s not difficult to see why. Few British rock acts have mastered the art of the enormous chorus quite like Kasabian. From the pounding bass of Club Foot to the crowd-baiting Fire, their songs are engineered for mass participation.

Expect Underdog, Shoot the Runner and You’re in Love with a Psycho to jostle for space with tracks from Act III, an album that throws hip hop, electronica and ’60s psychedelia into the band’s familiar collision of distorted guitars and big hooks.

More than two decades into their career, Kasabian aren’t interested in playing it safe. Eight UK number one albums and a reputation for explosive live shows suggest they’ve still got plenty left in the tank.
