Kevin Morby is heading back to Australia, bringing his restless, highway-worn songwriting to theatres, regional halls and festival stages across the country in support of his newly released eighth album, Little Wide Open.
The tour will see Morby perform full band dates at Melbourne’s Forum, Sydney’s Metro Theatre, Hotel Brunswick in Brunswick Heads and Town Folk Festival 2026 in Castlemaine, alongside a run of more intimate solo performances across New South Wales and Queensland. Presented by Handsome Tours and Jet Black Cat, the dates continue a touring history that has seen Morby move comfortably between major festival bills and deeply personal theatre shows.
Little Wide Open arrives carrying the dust and distance of the American Midwest. Produced by Aaron Dessner at Long Pond Studio following an invitation to support The National in London.
Morby has long resonated with local audiences, perhaps because his songwriting carries the same fascination with isolation, distance and geography that runs through so much Australian music. Whether headlining city venues or appearing at boutique regional festivals, his shows tend to feel conversational rather than performative, built less around spectacle than atmosphere.
