News: Killswitch Engage announce biggest Australian and New Zealand headline tour yet

After celebrating 25 years as a band and releasing their latest album This Consequence, Killswitch Engage are heading back to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 for their biggest headline shows in the region to date, joined by British heavyweights Sylosis.

Across albums like Alive Or Just Breathing, The End of Heartache and As Daylight Dies, Killswitch Engage mastered the balance between sheer heaviness and emotional release. Their music could flatten a room one second and land on something unexpectedly hopeful the next. That combination pushed them far beyond underground metal circles, earning Grammy nominations, gold and platinum records, billions of streams and a reputation as one of the defining live bands of the modern heavy era.

Recent album This Consequence continues that evolution while reconnecting with the urgency that first made the band essential. Lead single “I Believe” became the biggest radio hit of their career, proving that even after 25 years, Killswitch Engage still know how to turn personal struggle into massive, crowd-unifying catharsis.

Live, that emotional connection has always been the point. Whether sharing stages with Iron Maiden, Slayer, My Chemical Romance, Slipknot or Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage have remained a band built around release rather than spectacle alone. Expect these Australian and New Zealand dates to move between era-defining anthems and newer material with the same intensity, precision and heart that has kept them at the centre of heavy music for over two decades.
