With over 1.3 billion streams for their album ‘Netzwerk’ and a dedicated following of over three million monthly listeners on Spotify, the duo has solidified their status as a success story.
Now, Klangkarussell teams up with GIVVEN once again to release their latest single ‘Afterglow’, following the success of their first collaboration ‘Ghostkeeper’. Featuring violinist Rusanda Panfili and pianist Johannes Winkler, known for their work with renowned composers and film scores, ‘Afterglow’ delves into a dark and mystical synth design, blending swirling melodies with celestial lead lines and ethereal vocals.
Explaining the track’s concept, Klangkarussell shares, “’Afterglow’ continues the story of loss and grief, but this time a bit further along in the process… It’s about the process of grieving but still living at the same time.”
