Primavera Pro will return from 3–5 June 2026 at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), running concurrently with Primavera Sound Barcelona. Now in its 17th edition, the industry-focused gathering continues to position the Catalan capital as a central meeting point for the global music sector.
Supported since its inception by the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises (ICEC), Primavera Pro brings together conferences, networking sessions and an extensive showcase programme that highlights emerging and internationally recognised talent. In 2025, the event welcomed more than 3,200 professionals from 68 countries, underlining its sustained international reach.
As part of Primavera a la Ciutat, Primavera Pro 2026 will host approximately twenty free, open-admission concerts at the CCCB. The programme remains both culturally diverse and gender-balanced, presenting artists from Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Catalonia, South Korea, Ecuador, the United States, France, Guatemala, Ireland, Iceland, Mexico, Poland, Portugal and the United Kingdom. Catalan artists will also feature prominently, reflecting the event’s commitment to strengthening local scenes while facilitating global exchange.
This year introduces a new media partnership initiative, with Perfectly Imperfect, Remezcla and The Line of Best Fit each co-programming an artist alongside the Primavera Sound team. The collaboration underscores Primavera Pro’s role as a platform for forging industry alliances and extending international visibility for emerging acts.
The showcase line-up spans genres and geographies, from Los Angeles electronic artist 3L3D3P and Buenos Aires’ GAL GO to Irish experimental folk group Madra Salach and Montreal collective La Sécurité. Further participants include Ecuadorian duo MIEL, South Korea’s Azikazin Magic World, Irish artist April, Iceland’s RAKEL and Polish composer YANA, alongside a strong Catalan presence featuring Hadren, Kris Tena, Jolly Damper and L’Arannà.
In addition to the live programme, the forthcoming conference schedule will once again address key debates shaping the present and future of the music industry. Details of panels and speakers will be announced in due course.
Primavera Pro continues to operate as both marketplace and cultural forum — a space where new talent, established professionals and international media converge, shaping conversations that extend well beyond the festival week.
