News: Seasick Steve Album out in September & Intimate Concert Dates.

ONLY ON VINYL LP // 23 SEPTEMBER 2022

UK OUTSTORES // SEPTEMBER + OCTOBER

Seasick Steve releases his new album on 23 September in vinyl format only. ONLY ON VINYL will be available in standard black vinyl and limited edition blue vinyl. The album cover tells you exactly what to expect. No CD. No digital. No streaming on iTunes or Spotify or phones. No nothing. Just good old fashioned vinyl. You won’t find it anywhere else. Is this the only album being released in the world on vinyl only? We don’t know, but it’s an interesting thought.

Steve has also announced a run of intimate concerts to celebrate the release of the album. The dates, which will be an opportunity to see him and Crazy Dan close up in some fantastic grass roots venues, are partnered with record stores across the UK

Only On Vinyl finds Seasick Steve on top form, pulling riffs, grooves and melodies out of thin air to deliver new classics such as Put That In Your Pipe, How Do You Do and Train Wreck. Fans are sure to love the sequel to a firm favourite, Down On The Farm 2, alongside a down and dirty new recording of Hobo Low, while Crash & Burn is destined to become a huge live favourite as Steve delivers one of his greatest singalong choruses on record.

Steve had this to say: “I just wanted it to be like it used to. Wanna buy a record? Go to the record store! It’s an amazing thing to do. Just go, look around, feel the vibe. Then you pick out a record. Then you got something REAL in your hands instead of in some cloud. It’s really yours. For real. I swear.”
