Essex-born pop-punk singer-songwriter Shannon Darcy is making a striking first impression with the release of her debut EP, Just Worried Because.
A evocative blend of noughties angst and contemporary honesty, the six-track record showcases the influence of early Paramore and Avril Lavigne through emotive, high octane soundscapes. Diving into the project, she explains, “I’m so excited to announce that I’m finally releasing my very own EP! I wanted this to consist of a sound and a vibe that relates to each and every aspect of who I am, and I feel that this EP tells a story from start to finish.”
