News: Story of the Year and Silverstein bring Camp Screamo to Australia in 2027

Camp Screamo is heading Down Under, with post-hardcore heavyweights Story of the Year and Silverstein joining forces for a five-date Australian tour in February 2027, bringing Los Angeles rockers Point North along for the ride.

Fresh from selling out their North American run, the two bands will kick things off in Melbourne on 5 February before hitting Sydney, Adelaide and Fremantle, wrapping up in Brisbane on 12 February.

Missouri’s Story of the Year helped define the early 2000s post-hardcore explosion with their million-selling 2003 debut Page Avenue, delivering enduring favourites including Until the Day I Die and Anthem of Our Dying Day. Their latest album, A.R.S.O.N., proves they’re not finished making noise.

Canadian veterans Silverstein have been flying the emo and post-hardcore flag for more than 25 years. From 2005’s Discovering the Waterfront to their 2025 releases Antibloom and Pink Moon, Shane Told and company have built a formidable catalogue, including fan favourites My Heroine and Smile in Your Sleep.

Opening proceedings are Point North, whose collision of pop punk, alternative rock and electronic influences brings a younger edge to the bill. The trio previously visited Australia in 2025 supporting Ocean Sleeper.

With two of the genre’s most enduring names sharing top billing and career-spanning sets promised, Camp Screamo looks set to deliver a serious dose of early 2000s post-hardcore, minus the time machine.
