Emerging indie singer-songwriter TIMEA has unveiled her highly anticipated debut album ‘and I forever will’, a moving exploration of grief, identity, and transformation.
Known for her evocative lyricism and genre-blending style, TIMEA’s first full-length release is a deeply personal offering that underscores her growing stature in the European and UK music scenes.
The album opens with the previously released ‘Videocalls’, a track that instantly immerses listeners in TIMEA’s distinctive sonic world—euphoric, gliding vocals float over indie-rock guitar riffs. The journey continues through ‘sick of playing pretend’, marked by subdued piano lines and emotive, layered vocals that gradually swell into more expansive production. The emotional weight of the album is balanced by its musical richness, reflecting influences as diverse as Gracie Abrams, Regina Spektor, and Thom Yorke.
In the album’s final 15 minutes, TIMEA introduces previously unheard tracks ‘NOVÉ TELO’, ‘že tu stojíš’, ‘jazzmaster’, and ‘ALL KINDS OF STUFF’. These songs pull together the record’s diverse influences into a cohesive, cathartic close. Throughout, there is a persistent tension between solemn reflection and hopeful resilience—an artistic signature that sets TIMEA apart in the indie-pop landscape.
“The album is, for me, a living reminder that love exists,” TIMEA shares. “‘and I forever will’ captures the hardest year of my life. The loss of my dad, loss of my identity somewhere between New York and my hometown Bratislava, and everything I have found along the way.”
