Rising pop solo artist Ines Rae shines on the new single ‘Miniature Man’.

Capturing an essence of benny blanco through its tight blend of clean guitar tones, bright synths and radiant melodies, the track opens as an elegant slice of bedroom pop, before bursting into an expansive, anthemic chorus which hammers home the commercial appeal.   Taken from Ines’ forthcoming EP, ‘Miniature Man’ showcases the precise and breezy feel which makes the upcoming full project such an exciting prospect.

Dynamic, colourful and slick, the track delivers melancholic lyricism contrasted against the bright backing over its short and sharp 2 minutes 13.

Speaking about the single, Ines explains: “I wrote Miniature Man for anyone who’s ever been in a situation where the other person won’t commit. It’s an anthem for all the girls and guys to appreciate their worth and that being someone’s ‘maybe’ isn’t an option.”

Already making noise as one of the most exciting new voices in UK pop, Ines Rae has attracted attention from BBC Radio 1’s Jodie Bryant and Spotify’s editorial giants like ‘New Music Friday’ and ‘New Pop UK’. As her acclaim continues to snowball, Ines has been in the studio with pop heavyweights including Bastille and Fickle Friends, and collaborated with elite songwriters like Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga), Kal Lavelle (Ed Sheeran), and Adam Rust (Little Mix, Becky Hill). Notably, her track ‘Never Get It Right’—featured on the Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated Emily In Paris—saw her team up with award-winning producer Shura, reaching the top 11 most Shazammed tracks in the US and top 50 globally.

With a new EP on the way, Ines Rae has an exciting few months ahead.
