Zach Bryan is heading back to Australia, and this time he’s going big. The American country star has announced his first Australian headline tour, bringing the Young Manhood & Other Donatable Organs Tour to stadiums across the country in December 2027.
The six-date run includes two nights each at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, Sydney’s Accor Stadium and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium. Australian favourite Vance Joy and rising American singer-songwriter Emma Ogier will join Bryan at every show.
It’s a big leap from Bryan’s last Australian appearance in 2023, when his exclusive performance at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse sold out within minutes. Four years later, he’s returning to some of the country’s largest venues.
Since breaking through with Heading South in 2019, Bryan has built a following that extends well beyond country music. His stripped-back songwriting, rough-edged vocals and stories of heartbreak, addiction and self-doubt have helped him accumulate more than 36 billion global streams.
He’s also attracted an impressive list of collaborators, including Bruce Springsteen, Noah Kahan, Maggie Rogers, Bon Iver, John Mayer and Kacey Musgraves. Earlier this month, he performed to almost 74,000 fans at Massachusetts’ Gillette Stadium, another indication of just how far his career has travelled.
The tour announcement arrives as Bryan prepares to release his new EP, Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs, on 16 October via Warner Music.
Joining him is Melbourne’s Vance Joy, whose 2013 breakthrough Riptide launched an international career that has since produced hits including Saturday Sun, Missing Piece and Clarity. With more than 10 billion streams and stadium tours alongside Taylor Swift and P!NK behind him, Joy is no stranger to playing to enormous crowds.
Texas songwriter Emma Ogier completes the bill, bringing her thoughtful, alternative-leaning approach to folk and country music to Australian audiences.
For local fans who missed Bryan’s brief 2023 visit, this is a very different proposition. Six stadium shows, two special guests and a catalogue that has turned a once-independent Oklahoma songwriter into one of America’s biggest touring artists.
