Premiere: Dirty Freud releases new single Blood Bayou – listen first here


Taken from his upcoming EP ‘Love In The Backwater’, out on Modern Sky UK later in the year, Sheffield producer Dirty Freud is back with a new single Blood Bayou, and we’re delighted to premiere it right here on Backseat Mafia today.

It’s easy to see why some are calling Dirty Freud’s sound ‘electrodub’, with this Heavy hanging electro infused with stretchy, wiry bass sounds and pulsating drums and pads, with synth chords bleeding into eachother as riffs pop and sparkle over the top. The vocals, these almost eastern sounding things drape themselves seductively on top of all of it, and pull you in with their intoxicating melodies.
