After a purge amongst the ranks, Leeds’s premium country band Divorce Finance have returned with comeback single ‘You Can’t Say Whore on the Radio’.
Self-recorded on cassette between their practice room and new member Prize Pig’s bedroom (because producers keep trying to turn them into some polished ‘post-punk’ [fka Indie-Rock] product), Divorce Finance are back and more DIY than ever.
The song is a blistering satirical double take on the hypocrisy and interrelationships between cancel-culture, political censorship and radio censorship of the band’s previous works (i.e. ‘The Loneliest Twink on the Ranch’).
