See: Audiobooks share video for Gothenburg

Breakout experimental duo audiobooks are thrilled to share the video for ‘Gothenburg’, a track taken from their debut EP of the same name that was released last month through Heavenly Recordings.
“We went to beautiful Gothenburg to film this video,” the band say of the self-directed clip. “It has special light there, and everything tastes delicious because the air is so pure and salty. We both hate being on ships but had accidentally booked hotel rooms on an actual ship.”
A new project from super-producer/mixer David Wrench (Frank Ocean, The xx, Caribou, FKA Twigs) and artist/ model Evangeline Ling, the duo began making music after a chance meeting at a party. Soon after, the recordings that became their debut EP for Heavenly Recordings came to life. The band explain that “the EP brings together some of the different elements that make up what audiobooks is, taking four tracks from the already large body of work we have recorded over the last year.”
Of those four songs is the EP’s title track, ‘Gothenburg’ has been praised by the Observer for its “ghostly vocals and glitchy industrial beats,” and was also selected as one of Pitchfork’s best new tracks in their “what’s good” playlist. And they’re not wrong. The disturbing yet dulcet vocals and a unique approach, and the tribal rhythm and loops are hypnotic and astounding.
