New York trio Blonde Redhead already have an impressive cannon of work, and they’re about to add to it with the release of their latest EP, 3 O’Clock, the bands first new music since 2014’s Barragán.
From it the band have released a new video from it, for the EP’s single ‘Golden Light’. The track is this expressive, almost eerie slice of indie pop. With the vocals never much more than a whisper, there’s strings and rippling percussion that wraps its way around the song, giving it this sense of the serene and ethereal. It’s accompanied by a video from director Virgilio Villoresi, who also stars in it alongside actress Elizabeth Kinnear as two companions, or maybe lovers, lost in their own thoughts, themselves maybe.
