See: Ghosts Of Eden release video to “Happy”

There’s nothing too groundbreaking about “Happy”, the new song from New York quartet Ghosts of Eden, but its just the sort of power pop / rock that impossible not to like. There’s this rollercoaster riff, driven on by the drums and garnished by vocalist/guitarist Tom’s gruff delivery. Suddenly though, right in the middle of a nod along, the tempo drops out of it and it becomes all ELO like. As the song progresses, it switches between both stools at will. Thing about it though is its so damn catchy that when it reaches the end of its  2 1/2 (or thereabouts) you get this uncontrollable urge to play it again.
Check out the new animated lyric video from blacksheepmedia.net made to accompany the track.
