See: I Like Trains reveal video for comeback single The Truth

Some 8 years following the the release of their last album The Shallows, and having recently signed to the Atlantic Curve label, Leeds band I LIKE TRAINS have announced new album ‘Kompromat’ and with it, lead track ‘The Truth’.

Something of a departure from their previous releases, yet unmistakeably I LIKE TRAINS, it’s an absolutely storming piece of work, one can only anticipate how it will fit in to their live set, once we get out of these difficult times, and certainly brings a sense of anticipation for the album itself.

Watch the video here “before we are asked to take it down…”.

Quite !

Kompromat will be released on 21st August in all the usual formats including a particularly tasty limited edition silver vinyl. The band say that the album had not intended to be “a record about current affairs”, but became influenced by “Brexit, Trump, Cambridge Analytica and covert Russian influence”, Kompromat being derived from the Russian term for ‘compromising material’.
