See: Kagoule unveil new video for ‘It knows it’

It’s almost a year since we paid a visit to Kagoule – since then the trio have made significant waves – Glastonbury, support slots with Temples, Merchandise, Drenge, METZ, Iceage, touring with The Wytches and God Damn – it’s certainly been happening for the Notts teenagers, yes teenagers, young, but very, very talented.

And the story just keeps on getting better. In less than a week they will be supporting indie lo-fi legends Sebadoh. They’ve recently signed to established Nottingham record label Earache, and will be releasing their debut album next year.

So all good so far – and just to make things better they’ve just unveiled the video for ‘It Knows It’, a nifty little track that carries all the hallmarks of a group that can take their inspiration and twist it into their own unique version, allowing themselves to sit alongside, as opposed to underneath their  influences. The video is a pastiche, or is it a piss take , of a cheesy 90’s music video show – that I sadly recall been often watched on returning from a night on the town, worse for wear, convinced they were gonna play something good. They rarely did – Enjoy ‘Mud Fetish TV presents… a song banned in 14 countries…

Did you like it ? If so you’ll be pleased to know that it’s been released on limited  7″ vinyl on the 1st December, in the meantime you can sate yourselves with a free download via BitTorrent.

You can catch Kagoule live supporting Sebadoh at the following:-

Tue Nov 4th                         Dingwalls, London (w/ Sebadoh)
Wed Nov 5th                       The Haunt, Brighton (w/ Sebadoh)

Keep up to date with their doings via social media @:-

And just in case you missed it last time around here’s the video for ‘Adjust The Way’ – which is still available as a free download HERE

Kagoule – I like them, you should too.
