See: Manic Street Preachers reveal video for Distant Colours

Taken from their forthcoming album Resistance Is Futile, ‘Distant Colours’ was released on Friday 16th February on Columbia (Sony). Set for release on Friday 13th April, it will be the thirteenth studio album from the Manic Street Preachers.

The first track from the album, ‘International Blue’ came out in December 2017 and was soon added to A-lists at Radio 2, 6 Music and Absolute Radio, among others. Vocalist, James Dean Bradfield said, “Musically, the verse is downcast and melancholic and the chorus is an explosion of disillusionment and tears.”

The accompanying video is somewhat ‘Arthouse’ in style and after a 50 second introduction, an almost Killers melody appears, before we hear the recognisable Manics sound (that so many know and love) during the chorus. A surefire hit amongst die-hard fans!
