See: Muzz release video for new single Red Western Sky

we’ve already written about Muzz, the new project of Paul Banks of Interpol, Bonny Light Horsemens Josh Kaufman and Matt Barrick – drummer of Jonathan Fire*Eater, The Walkmen, and Fleet Foxes’ touring band. Taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut album, Out on June 5th via Matador, the band have released a new video for the single ‘Red Westeen Sky.

It’s this emotive slice of alt-rock, Paul Banks’ rich baritone soaking through the whole of it, as pianos and synths lay down the backing, decorated by brushes of guitar and fluttering of saxophone, all kept neatly in check by the driving rhythm section.

The accompanying video was shot at the American Treasure Tour Museum, a location chosen after a Barrick family visit, and was directed by the band. Check it out, here
