Ahead of the release of their new album 2020, due out on July 17th via Relapse Records, instrumental duo Zombi have released a new video for the track Earthscraper.
Of the release, Zombi drummer A.E. Paterra says “A heavy song, and an even heavier video by director Tony Balko. We’ve been excited to share this – it’s heavy in a new way for us and we hope you enjoy it.”
Built on huge winding riffs and drumming that seems to pull on the reigns somewhat, Earthscraper twists and morphs slowly, never knowingly changing direction totally, more shape shifting as it goes, with a good dose of psychedelia.
