Breeze return with the explosive new single ‘Song For a Sign’. Having spent the last twelve months proving why they’re one of Britain’s most exciting rising rock acts, the new single captures the energy and driving purposeful intensity of their live performances.
Released off the band of a packed European tour and a standout run of festival appearances have cemented their reputation as a band on a rapid upward trajectory, the trio shine bright on ‘Song For a Sign’. Opening with a roaring wall of punching drums, fuzzy guitar the band waste no time setting the tone. The track explodes into an atmospheric blend of soaring britpop-esque toplines and a chorus built for mass sing-alongs, capturing the raw intensity, given a hook with the indie edge.
The band explain: “We went deep into experimentation in the studio, layering unexpected sounds across the verses to bring a modern twist to that unmistakable ’90s Britpop energy the nation still craves. The result sounds like a head-bopping, hook-heavy track that worms its way into your head before detonating into a chorus built for festival fields and sweaty club sing-alongs.”
Consisting of brothers Albert, Harry and Alfred Anderson, Breeze have been steadily turning heads since their debut in 2021. They’ve shared stages with heavyweights such as Kasabian, Royal Blood and James at Y Not? Festival, and have lit up major events like the Isle of Wight Festival. Their recent tour of France saw them storm cities including Paris and Toulouse, culminating in a commanding performance at Rock en Vere.
With support from Radio X and BBC Introducingand recent studio collaborations with Embrace’s Richard McNamara, Breeze continue to elevate their sound while staying true to the infectious rock ’n’ roll spirit that first put them on the map. ‘Song For a Sign’ marks yet another confident stride forward for a band building serious momentum.
