Track: Crash & the Crapenters Get Funky on New Single

Crash and the Crapenters

Sydney stalwarts, Crash and the Crapenters have today dropped a new single, ‘I don’t get Johnny Funk’. Written by Chris Carpenter, David Lewis and Johan Amerian, the new track is an electrifying rocker that references the Red Hot Chili Peppers with its hooks and funky vibe. There’s a killer riff perfectly complemented by Chris Carpenter’s edgy vocals. Best of all though is that the band has stayed close to its punk heritage as the lyrics deliver some blistering societal critiques.

Crash and the Crapenters are always fun to see live – don’t miss them when they play the Moshpit Bar on 19 February.
